The IGWA// ILES GUADELOUPE AVENTURE is an Adventure & Discovery event of the Guadeloupean Territory and Identities that will soon stand out as a new Adventure & Discovery Race of international scale.

The Guadeloupe Islands: Basse-Terre, Marie-Galante, Grande Terre, Les Saintes and La Désirade, are 5 unique islands that will be revealed to you in a unique way…Competitors will cross white sand islands, volcanic summits, tumultuous rivers and humid forests, at wide variety of colors and scents…

How extraordinary it sounds! During a week, 30 teams roam about through running, swimming, paddleling, biking, discovering or seeking… The race will alternate between adventure-sport events deep inside the landscape and discovery events across towns and villages, sp both to feel scents and flavours and to go to meet the inheritance and culture of the inhabitants.

The IGWA, are events that associate natural spaces (adventure events) and crossing of towns and villages (discovery events), so to really get acquainted with the heart and soul of Guadeloupe out of the usual “clichés”.On each edition, at least 3 islands of the archipelago of the Guadeloupe Islands will be highlighted.

Each day, competitors will move on different sport events with discovery events in between.-Adventure events (according to the edition): Sailing, Mountaineering, Funboard, Scuba-diving, Rope Sections, Canyoning, Horse Riding, Mountain Biking…-Discovery events (according to the edition): Inheritance Orienteering Trail, Flavour Hunt, Knowledge of the Ecology, Identity Rallyes…
